Week 7: Minnesota (Defense)

I am fairly disappointed in our defense this week. Ever since TCU, we have allowed so many big gains that it kills us. Minnesota ran almost the same pass play the whole game, and we could never figure it out. The stats show otherwise that our defense did good by only allowing 14 points and getting 3 turnovers, but if you actually watched the whole game, the defense looked sloppy. What hurts our defense even more in the long run is Nick Bosa leaving us mid season for the NFL draft. Him coming back would’ve helped us out greatly, but not we need to get the rest of our young guys up and ready to play the games ahead. I hope out defensive guys get pushed hard at practice this week to prepare for a trap game at Purdue, who has an explosive offense.
